Rough Planning: This department is responsible for planning the diamond which directs the subsequent processes in the Preparation and Finishing Departments.
The department focuses on proactively analyzing the diamonds' characteristics, evaluating multiple alternatives using the latest technologies and providing the most advantageous solution for the client.
Comprising predominantly of marking operations, the marking is aided by the use of microscopes for improved decisions and precision marking.
Aided by state-of-the-art technology including OGI systems, Laser marking systems, fluorescent lamps, Polariscopes and processes such as rough polishing, window faceting and table polishing, the department obtains optimal yield and quality.
Sawing: With an experienced workforce giving special attention to each and every diamond, this department achieves a high quality of sawing as per the direction of the Rough Planning department.
Laser: The Laser department at WDM uses the State-of-the-art laser technology and advanced software for carrying out the diamond sawing, bruting and shaping operations as per the direction of Rough planning department.
Polishing: WDM is specialized in all sizes from 0.25 of a carat to exceptional stones of 20 or more carats. Our range includes all the traditional models, such as the round brilliant, pear, marquise, oval, heart, baguette, princess, emerald cut and specialized cuts such as crown of light, matched stones, bullet, cushion, tie, moon and many more as per its client's requirements.

Assortment Department: WDM has a dedicated assortment department comprising of International Gemological Institute (IGI) certified trained assorters with rich experience in carrying out the polished grading as per international standards/client's requirement.
Fluorescence grading: Diamonds are examined and measured under UV light to sort according to fluorescence and non fluorescence.
